CountyCorp identified key areas in the cities of Huber Heights and Trotwood, Ohio, that offer attractive amenities like nearby schools, shopping, and easy access to major highways, but were suffering from depressed home sales and property values due to an excess of vacant and foreclosed homes.
In these key areas, we purchase vacant, foreclosed homes and complete a comprehensive green and energy efficient rehabilitation process of the properties to contribute to the stabilization of the neighborhood and its property values.
NSP homes are one-story and one-and-a-half-story brick homes built between 1958 and 1965. Homes are built on slabs and range from 1000 to 1400 square feet. All homes feature attached and/or detached garages, three to four bedrooms and 1-1/2 to 2 full baths.
Rehabilitated homes are sold at market value to home buyers who meet the requirements of the program. NSP is a middle-income housing program, and the income limit for buyers is capped at 120% of the Area Median Income.
