There are many benefits to owning an NSP home, but the program does have some eligibility requirements, so be sure to review the information below before completing a buyer application.
Qualifications and Purchasing Process
1) The home buyer must qualify at below 120% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for the area where you plan to buy a home. That means total median income for your household cannot exceed the following limits:
Montgomery County, Ohio FY 2012 Income Limits for 120% of HUD Area Median Income (AMI)
| 1 Person Household | 2 Person Household | 3 Person Household | 4 Person Household | 5 Person Household | 6 Person Household | 7 Person Household | 8 Person Household |

2) The home buyer can choose their own lender, but the lender and the loan must be approved by CountyCorp for the NSP program. All of our approved lenders are offering great loan packages for buyers. Please contact us for lender information.
3) The home buyer must complete 8 hours of home ownership classes with our HUD-approved counseling agency.
4) After the home buyer has been pre-approved, income has been verified, and the buyer has completed the home buyer education classes, you can negotiate a contract to purchase an NSP home.
